The work Terre érotique by André Masson was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in October 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 15,120.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by André Masson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gradiva in December 2010 with an auction result of EUR 2,360,750.00.

Die Arbeit Terre érotique von André Masson kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 15.120,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von André Masson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gradiva im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.360.750,00.
