Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Soldiers Marching In The Snow by Andreas Schelfhout was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2015. The price achieved of EUR 13,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andreas Schelfhout achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wintergezicht met schaatsrijders: a busy day on the ice in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 524,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Soldiers Marching In The Snow von Andreas Schelfhout kam im November 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 13.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andreas Schelfhout erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wintergezicht met schaatsrijders: a busy day on the ice im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 524.800,00.
