Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2000 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Pictures, which included the work Shepherds with their flocks in an extensive landscape by Andries Vermeulen. The price achieved of GBP 5,875.00 (€ 10,057.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andries Vermeulen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winter Landscape With Skaters On A Frozen Canal, which sold at auction in December 2008 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 24,944.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Shepherds with their flocks in an extensive landscape von Andries Vermeulen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.875,00 (€ 10.057,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Andries Vermeulen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Winter Landscape With Skaters On A Frozen Canal beobachtet, die im Dezember 2008 für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 24.944,41) versteigert wurde.
