Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In The Moonlight by Anna Staritsky was sold in the RUSSIAN PICTURES auction at Christies in London in November 2004. It changed hands for a price of GBP 6,572.50 (€ 9,454.51) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anna Staritsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Play Of Textures, which sold at auction in November 2004 for GBP 21,510.00 (€ 30,942.02).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 6.572,50 (€ 9.454,51) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Anna Staritsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Play Of Textures beobachtet, die im November 2004 für GBP 21.510,00 (€ 30.942,02) versteigert wurde.
