Sold at the lower estimate price

The work Mount Williamson From Manzanar, Calif., 1944 by Ansel Adams was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2014. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,419.61) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ansel Adams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Grand Tetons and the Snake River, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 988,000.00 (€ 807,849.55).

Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis

Die Arbeit Mount Williamson From Manzanar, Calif., 1944 von Ansel Adams kam im April 2014 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion.
