The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Grand Tetons and the Snake River, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 988,000.00 (€ 807,849.55).

Die Arbeit 'The Great White Throne, Zion Nat'l Park, Utah' von Ansel Adams kam im Februar letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 21.420,00 (€ 19.084,11) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ansel Adams erzielen.
