In the Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolours auction, the work Fishing boats and shrimpers on the shore, Dover sold for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,738.25) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Copley Fielding have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An extensive view of Greenwich, London in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 25,095.00 (€ 36,062.88).
