Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2021 Christies in New York held the auction European Art, which included the work View Of The Palazzo Vecchio From The Boboli Gardens, Florence by Antonietta Brandeis. The »bidding war« ended at USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,793.02), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonietta Brandeis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venice: A View of the Piazza San Marco in January 2021 with an auction result of USD 441,000.00 (€ 363,411.62).
