Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Woman By The Shore by Aristarkh Vasilyevich Lentulov was sold in the Russian Art Evening auction at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300,000.00 – 400,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 301,250.00 (€ 364,233.89) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Aristarkh Vasilyevich Lentulov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Children With Parasols in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 2,098,500.00 (€ 2,621,975.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Woman By The Shore von Aristarkh Vasilyevich Lentulov wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Russian Art Evening bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 300.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 301.250,00 (€ 364.233,89) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aristarkh Vasilyevich Lentulov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Children With Parasols im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.098.500,00 (€ 2.621.975,35).
