Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli and International Art, which included the work Lava by Avner Ben-Gal. The price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,286.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Other works by Avner Ben-Gal have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2009 the work Parrot, From The Series "Eve Of Destruction" was auctioned for USD 18,750.00 (€ 12,505.00).

Im Dezember 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli and International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lava von Avner Ben-Gal zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.286,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden.
