The work Al-Mulatham I by Ayman Baalbaki was sold in the Contemporary Art / Doha auction at Sothebys in Doha in April 2015. The »bidding war« ended at USD 187,500.00 (€ 167,980.65), 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ayman Baalbaki; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ya’Illahi (Dear Lord) sold at auction in April 2013 with the realized price of USD 377,000.00 (€ 286,300.12).

Die Arbeit Al-Mulatham I von Ayman Baalbaki wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Art / Doha bei Sothebys in Doha versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 187.500,00 (€ 167.980,65) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ayman Baalbaki; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ya’Illahi (Dear Lord) im April 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 377.000,00 (€ 286.300,12).
