Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2015 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Ayman Baalbaki. The »bidding war« ended at USD 233,000.00 (€ 211,012.50), 17% above the upper estimate. Other works by Ayman Baalbaki have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 377,000.00 (€ 286,300.12) in April 2013 for the work Ya’Illahi (Dear Lord).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ayman Baalbaki zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 233.000,00 (€ 211.012,50) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Ayman Baalbaki haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 377.000,00 (€ 286.300,12) im April 2013 für die Arbeit Ya’Illahi (Dear Lord) beobachtet.
