Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cacciagione by Baldassare De Caro was auctioned at Christies in Milan in June 2006. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,976.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Baldassare De Caro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Upturned Basket Of Figs, Together With Apricots, Other Fruit And Flowers In A Landscape Setting in December 2008 with an auction result of GBP 34,850.00 (€ 36,602.64).

Die Arbeit Cacciagione von Baldassare De Caro kam im Juni 2006 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.976,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Baldassare De Caro erzielen.
