This artwork by Banksy achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September 2020. In the Banksy: I can’t believe you morons actually buy this sh*t auction, the work Morons (LA Edition) sold for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 35,836.53) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Banksy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Love is in the Bin in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 18,582,000.00 (€ 22,014,651.32).

Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Banksy erzielte im September 2020 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Banksy: I can’t believe you morons actually buy this sh*t wurde die Arbeit Morons (LA Edition) für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 35.836,53) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Banksy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Love is in the Bin im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.582.000,00 (€ 22.014.651,32).
