Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2014 Koller held the auction Schweizer Kunst, which included the work Kleine Seelandschaft. by Barthélemy Menn. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 1,680.00 (€ 1,383.88) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Barthélemy Menn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Un Vallon. 1850–60. in July 2020 with an auction result of CHF 25,920.00 (€ 24,156.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2014 führte Koller die Auktion Schweizer Kunst durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kleine Seelandschaft. von Barthélemy Menn zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 1.680,00 (€ 1.383,88) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Barthélemy Menn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Un Vallon. 1850–60. im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 25.920,00 (€ 24.156,63).
