Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Iranian playing With Reality by Behjat Sadr was sold in the 20th Century Art/ Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in April 2017. The price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 25,234.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Behjat Sadr have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 96,250.00 (€ 111,643.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Iranian playing With Reality von Behjat Sadr wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion 20th Century Art/ Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 25.234,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Behjat Sadr auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 96.250,00 (€ 111.643,10).
