The work Sans titre, circa 1970 by Bertina Lopes was sold in the Art Moderne & Contemporain Africain auction at Bonhams in Paris in November 2021. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,287.50 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bertina Lopes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ritratto, which sold at auction in March last year for GBP 20,250.00 (€ 24,008.65).

Die Arbeit Sans titre, circa 1970 von Bertina Lopes wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Art Moderne & Contemporain Africain bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.287,50 und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Bertina Lopes mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ritratto beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für GBP 20.250,00 (€ 24.008,65) versteigert wurde.
