This artwork by Boris Kustodiev achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2006. In the Important Russian Pictures auction, the work Study For 'Russian Venus' sold for GBP 19,200.00 (€ 28,512.60) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boris Kustodiev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Coachman in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 4,409,250.00 (€ 5,431,748.64).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Boris Kustodiev erzielte im November 2006 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Study For 'Russian Venus' für GBP 19.200,00 (€ 28.512,60) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Boris Kustodiev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Coachman im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.409.250,00 (€ 5.431.748,64).
