Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink, which included the work Rocky Landscape by C. C. Wang. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,459.32). Other works by C. C. Wang have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 38,239.07) in May 2018 for the work Lantern Festival.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rocky Landscape von C. C. Wang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.459,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von C. C. Wang haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 38.239,07) im Mai 2018 für die Arbeit Lantern Festival beobachtet.
