Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
When the work "In the Cave the Oak is Sheltered from the Flood" by Carl Fredrik Hill was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2019, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - SEK 50,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at SEK 160,000.00 (€ 15,234.05). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Fredrik Hill achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Det blommande fruktträdet" in June 2010 with an auction result of SEK 9,200,000.00 (€ 964,836.06).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit "In the Cave the Oak is Sheltered from the Flood" von Carl Fredrik Hill im Juni 2019 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – SEK 50.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit SEK 160.000,00 (€ 15.234,05) mehr als dreimal so hoch. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Fredrik Hill erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Det blommande fruktträdet" im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 9.200.000,00 (€ 964.836,06).
