In December 2020 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Important Winter Sale, which included the work Woman carrying water by Carl Milles. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 48,000.00 (€ 4,780.38), 60% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Milles achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Naiad and dolphin in December 2010 with an auction result of SEK 1,100,000.00 (€ 122,609.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Important Winter Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Woman carrying water von Carl Milles zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 48.000,00 (€ 4.780,38) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Milles erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Naiad and dolphin im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.100.000,00 (€ 122.609,09).
