Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The young Saint John the Baptist by Cesare Dandini was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2005. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 9,000.00 (€ 7,463.92). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare Dandini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saint Michael The Archangel in January 2009 with an auction result of USD 542,500.00 (€ 423,695.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The young Saint John the Baptist von Cesare Dandini kam im September 2005 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 9.000,00 (€ 7.463,92) einen neuen Besitzer.
