Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2004 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Gondolas before the Doge's Palace, Venice by Charles-Clément Calderon. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,107.00 (€ 4,624.15). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles-Clément Calderon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View Of The Doge'S Palace, Venice, which sold at auction in January 2008 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 13,476.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gondolas before the Doge's Palace, Venice von Charles-Clément Calderon zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.107,00 (€ 4.624,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Charles-Clément Calderon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View Of The Doge'S Palace, Venice beobachtet, die im Januar 2008 für USD 20.000,00 (€ 13.476,18) versteigert wurde.
