Auction result well in line with expectations

The work GAZBFAN by Charles-Hossein Zenderoudi was sold in the Dubai: Post War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in March 2018. It changed hands for a price of USD 118,750.00 (€ 96,387.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles-Hossein Zenderoudi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tchaar-Bagh in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,609,000.00 (€ 1,033,530.32).

Die Arbeit GAZBFAN von Charles-Hossein Zenderoudi wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Dubai: Post War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 96.387,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles-Hossein Zenderoudi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tchaar-Bagh im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.609.000,00 (€ 1.033.530,32).
