Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lotus by Chen Jialing was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,114.09), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Admittedly, works by Chen Jialing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers And Birds (Album Of Twelve Works) in December 2015 with an auction result of CNY 330,400.00 (€ 46,978.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lotus von Chen Jialing wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.114,09) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Jialing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers And Birds (Album Of Twelve Works) im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 330.400,00 (€ 46.978,32).
