The work Australian A Feral Cat by Clifton Pugh was sold in the Important Paintings auction at Sothebys in Sydney in April 2008. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 42,000.00 (€ 25,410.97), 40% above the upper estimate. With this result, Australian A Feral Cat is even the most expensive work of art by Clifton Pugh that we have observed at auctions so far.
