Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Horses at a trough by Colin Graeme Roe was auctioned at Christies in London in August 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,278.89). Admittedly, works by Colin Graeme Roe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shin-a-beg a bay horse in a phaeton, with a terrier and a pug in a stable yard in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 7,637.50 (€ 11,813.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Horses at a trough von Colin Graeme Roe kam im August 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.278,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Colin Graeme Roe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shin-a-beg a bay horse in a phaeton, with a terrier and a pug in a stable yard im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.637,50 (€ 11.813,48).
