Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Acrobats by Cyril Power was sold in the The Age of SpeedThe Grosvenor School and the Avant-garde auction at Bonhams in London in December this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,864.00 (€ 5,603.14) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cyril Power achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Whence & Whither? (C. Cep 14) in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 95,050.51).
