This artwork by Daniel Arsham achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2020. In the Daniel Arsham : Archeology of the Future auction, the work Blue Crystalized Pikachu sold for HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,768.19) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Arsham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quartz Eroded Vogue Magazine 101 in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 2,312,500.00 (€ 268,207.19).

Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Daniel Arsham erzielte im Juni 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Daniel Arsham : Archeology of the Future wurde die Arbeit Blue Crystalized Pikachu für HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.768,19) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Arsham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Quartz Eroded Vogue Magazine 101 im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.312.500,00 (€ 268.207,19).
