Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,599.74) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Hockney achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nichols Canyon in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 41,067,500.00 (€ 33,579,313.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Olympische Spiele München 1972 von David Hockney wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Vintage Posters Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.402,50 (€ 1.599,74) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00.
