Illustrating the haloed Akbar II in embroidered robes seated on the golden Peacock Throne under an elaborate jeweled canopy decorated with painted poppies and nesting peacocks, attended by his four sons and two barefoot emissaries holding staves, all in various brightly colored garments, some wearing jeweled and stippled gold headdresses and finely decorated boots highlighted in gold and standing upon a red carpet, the scene arranged upon a parapet with white balustrade in the background, bearing an old framer's label Harris & Sons, no. 83307, Plymouth, 29/9/28
