This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Deng Fen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Encounter By The Lakeside Pavilion in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 7,060,000.00 (€ 777,036.40).

Die Arbeit Beauty in the Style of Tang Yin von Deng Fen war einem Käufer im November 2011 HKD 300.000,00 (€ 28.699,92) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Deng Fen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Encounter By The Lakeside Pavilion im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.060.000,00 (€ 777.036,40).
