This artwork by Ding Yanyong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2020. In the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Figures sold for HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,073.19) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Yanyong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Crane In The Wait For Flight in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 9,040,000.00 (€ 884,914.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ding Yanyong erzielte im November 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Figures für HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.073,19) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Yanyong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Crane In The Wait For Flight im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.040.000,00 (€ 884.914,95).
