Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Dorothea Sharp achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November last year. In the British and European Art auction, the work A mixed bunch sold for GBP 10,200.00 (€ 11,819.47) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dorothea Sharp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In The Orchard, Picking Plums in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 84,000.00 (€ 124,759.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dorothea Sharp erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and European Art wurde die Arbeit A mixed bunch für GBP 10.200,00 (€ 11.819,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dorothea Sharp erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In The Orchard, Picking Plums im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.000,00 (€ 124.759,39).
