In the Collection Patrick Guerrand-Hermès, Tableaux Orientalistes et Art Islamique provenant de la Villa Aïn Kassimou, Marrakech auction, the work La Sortie Du Pachaedme-Alexis-Alfred Dehodencq ; The Pacha Going Out ; Signed Lower Right ; Oil On Canvas sold for EUR 336,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfred Dehodencq - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Musiciens juifs dans les rues de Tétuan, which sold at auction in October 2008 for USD 1,082,500.00 (€ 853,571.99).
