In June 2000 Christies in London held the auction The Jeanson Collection, which included the work Singe vert - Green Monkey - Chlorocebus aethiops Singe patar - Patas Monkey - Erytrocebus patas 1 Macaques crabien - Crab-eating Macaques - Macaca fascicularis 2, both signed and dated "Edouard Traviès pxit 1836." and "Edouard Traviès pt 1833." in the by Edouard Traviès. The price achieved of GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,725.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00.
