The work Plaquette by Eileen Gray was sold in the Eileen Gray & the Villa E-1027 auction at Artcurial in June 2019. The result of EUR 200.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eileen Gray achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work PANNEAU ‘AUM MANE PADME AUM' (SALUT A TOI, O JOYAU DANS LE LOTUS), VERS 1912 in December 2019 with an auction result of EUR 310,000.00.

Die Arbeit Plaquette von Eileen Gray wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion Eileen Gray & the Villa E-1027 bei Artcurial versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 200,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 200,00 – 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eileen Gray erzielen.
