A top price for Erik Bulatov
In February 2008 Phillips in London held the auction Contemporary Russian Art, which included the work Glory to the CPSU by Erik Bulatov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,084,500.00 (€ 1,418,483.44), 55% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Glory to the CPSU the most expensive artwork by Erik Bulatov that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Februar 2008 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Contemporary Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Glory to the CPSU von Erik Bulatov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.084.500,00 (€ 1.418.483,44) und damit 55% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Glory to the CPSU zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Erik Bulatov, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
