The auction ended at the price of GBP 600.00 (€ 696.00), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernest Shepard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Here Is Edward Bear, Coming Downstairs Now, Bump, Bump, Bump, On The Back Of His Head, Behind Christopher Robin." in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 139,250.00 (€ 171,733.92).
