Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ernst Billgren could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in September last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Made in Sweden H064 auction, the work "Diana" changed hands for SEK 70,000.00 (€ 6,425.43) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ernst Billgren have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Ekorre" (Squirrel) in May 2012 with an auction result of SEK 410,000.00 (€ 43,307.99).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ernst Billgren konnte im September letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Made in Sweden H064 wechselte die Arbeit "Diana" für SEK 70.000,00 (€ 6.425,43) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ernst Billgren auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Ekorre" (Squirrel) im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 410.000,00 (€ 43.307,99).
