Admittedly, works by Eugenio Zampighi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La famiglia felice in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 73,500,000.00 (€ 66,059.99).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.187,05) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugenio Zampighi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La famiglia felice im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 73.500.000,00 (€ 66.059,99).
