Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work General Yue Fei by Fan Zeng was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 2,375,000.00 (€ 264,075.93), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Admittedly, works by Fan Zeng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Finishing Touch of the Dragon Eye in August last year with an auction result of HKD 17,700,000.00 (€ 2,240,417.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit General Yue Fei von Fan Zeng kam im November 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 2.375.000,00 (€ 264.075,93) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fan Zeng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Finishing Touch of the Dragon Eye im August letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 17.700.000,00 (€ 2.240.417,29).
