Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Huai Su Writing by Fan Zeng. It changed hands for a price of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 84,650.71) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fan Zeng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Finishing Touch of the Dragon Eye in August last year with an auction result of HKD 17,700,000.00 (€ 2,240,417.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Huai Su Writing von Fan Zeng zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 84.650,71) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fan Zeng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Finishing Touch of the Dragon Eye im August letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 17.700.000,00 (€ 2.240.417,29).
