This artwork by Fang Chuxiong achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Poly Auction App in May last year. In the The Lasting Spring, Fine Modern Chinese Paintings auction, the work Figures sold for HKD 54,000.00 (€ 6,410.96) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fang Chuxiong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cat in April this year with an auction result of HKD 42,000.00 (€ 42,890.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fang Chuxiong erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei POLY in Poly Auction App einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Lasting Spring, Fine Modern Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Figures für HKD 54.000,00 (€ 6.410,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fang Chuxiong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cat im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 42.000,00 (€ 42.890,22).
