Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ferdinand Erfmann could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction, the work Glodok changed hands for HKD 6,000.00 (€ 656.49) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ferdinand Erfmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vrouw met kinderwagen in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 51,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ferdinand Erfmann konnte im November 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art wechselte die Arbeit Glodok für HKD 6.000,00 (€ 656,49) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ferdinand Erfmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vrouw met kinderwagen im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.600,00.
