This artwork by Francesco Foschi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2003. In the Old Master Pictures auction, the work A mountainous winter landscape with peasants by farmhouses sold for GBP 28,680.00 (€ 40,621.46) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 16,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Foschi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paysage D'Hiver, Probablement "Le Tunnel À Travers La Falaise À Il Furlo", which sold at auction in June 2007 for EUR 156,000.00.

Oberer Schätzpreis um 79 % übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Francesco Foschi erzielte im Dezember 2003 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Pictures wurde die Arbeit A mountainous winter landscape with peasants by farmhouses für GBP 28.680,00 (€ 40.621,46) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 16.000,00.
