Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2005 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work Pastorella by Francesco Paolo Michetti. The price achieved of EUR 19,840.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco Paolo Michetti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bimba Al Sole (1870-1875) in June 2001 with an auction result of EUR 147,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2005 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pastorella von Francesco Paolo Michetti zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 19.840,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco Paolo Michetti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bimba Al Sole (1870-1875) im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 147.000,00.
