In the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Untitled (Landscape with Sun) sold for USD 44,100.00 (€ 39,754.80) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Newton Souza achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Birth in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 4,085,000.00 (€ 3,659,738.40).
