Sold at the upper estimate price

The work No One Has Seen Us (Nadie Nos Ha Visto) Plate 79 From: Los Caprichos by Francisco de Goya was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2020. The auction ended at the price of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,575.77), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francisco de Goya achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Doña María Vicenta Barruso Valdés, seated on a sofa with a lap-dog; and Portrait of her mother Doña Leonora Antonia Valdés de Barruso, seated on a chair holding a fan in January this year with an auction result of USD 16,420,000.00 (€ 15,122,490.33).

Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis

Die Arbeit No One Has Seen Us (Nadie Nos Ha Visto) Plate 79 From: Los Caprichos von Francisco de Goya kam im Oktober 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Doña María Vicenta Barruso Valdés, seated on a sofa with a lap-dog; and Portrait of her mother Doña Leonora Antonia Valdés de Barruso, seated on a chair holding a fan im Januar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.420.000,00 (€ 15.122.490,33).
