Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Contre-Composition" (Composition Neoplasticiste) (Hommage a Mondrian) by Franciska Clausen was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 300,000.00 – 350,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 265,000.00 (€ 30,819.19). Other works by Franciska Clausen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2012 by the work "Éléments mécaniques" at SEK 305,000.00 (€ 35,471.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Contre-Composition" (Composition Neoplasticiste) (Hommage a Mondrian) von Franciska Clausen im Oktober 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 300.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 265.000,00 (€ 30.819,19) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Franciska Clausen wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2012 die Arbeit "Éléments mécaniques" mit SEK 305.000,00 (€ 35.471,14).
